As President of the Arab Union for Astronomy and Space Sciences (AUASS), and on behalf the members of its Supreme Council and all members of AUASS, including scientists, specialists, space enthusiasts, and astronomers affiliated with various entities, associations, and confederations, bringing them together in various countries of the Arab world, I would like to convey the utmost congratulations and best wishes to His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, Their Highnesses, members of the UAE Supreme Council and Rulers of the UAE, its government and proud Arab nationals, and those residing in this blessed country.

I would further like to extend these congratulations, in every sense of the word, to the Arab and Islamic nation, as a whole, for the tremendous achievement in space accomplished by the UAE today in its conquest of Mars through the Hope Probe Mission. This achievement embodies the prominent stature and notability of our eminent Arab scientific heritage and sets a prestigious international record, making the UAE the fifth country in the world to reach Mars.

I would like to emphasize that this achievement has been one of the greatest hopes and will remain one of the greatest accomplishments, which AUASS plans to build upon in its strategic directions at the national level in the coming years.

Once again, I would like to reiterate our congratulations and expressions of pride with the hope that Allah, the Almighty, will continue to bless us with further triumphs and achievements of such international standards.

President of the Arab Union for Astronomy and Space Sciences
