World Record event held at TNTEU

The TAMIL NADU TEACHERS EDUCATION UNIVERSITY, and The CENTER FOR CAPACITY BUILDING PROGRAMMES FOR SCHOOL TEACHERS, Chennai organized a world Record event titled "VISION 2030 : IMPORTANCE OF ENHANCING LIFE SKILLS FOR REACHING HIGHER HEIGHTS" on 18.06.2021 by incorporating 51 sub titles with 51 Educational Institutions of Arts, Science and Education for 59 continuous progressive hours to create a world record event by signifying the importance of enhancing life skills.

This mega event was organized by Dr. T. Sivasakthi Rajammal, Assistant Professor, Department of Educational Psychology and coordinator, Centre for Capacity Building Programmes for School teachers, Tamilnadu Teachers Education University, Chennai. The live telecast was rendered by Tamil America Channel. The meeting was inaugurated on 18.06.2021 at 9am. Prof. M Govindan welcomed the gathering. Dr T Sivasakthi Rajammal explained the theme of the event. Presidential address was given by Prof V Balakrishnan, Registrar i/c of TNTEU. Inaugural address was given by Honourable Vice Chancellor Prof N Panchanatham. Key note address was given by Mr R Rajendran, Founder of Assist world Record and Special address was given by Mr Austin Giltus, Founder of Tamil America Channel. Felicitation was given by Prof S Mani, Prof P Ganeshan, Deputy Registrar Prof K Mohan and representives like Secretary, principals from 51 Educational Institutions. Dr Mohammed Mohideen and Dr Ravi Govindaraj participated as the guests of honour. Prof S Kadhiravan, Controller of Examinations i/c, Dean of Social Science, Head, Department of Psychology delivered the valedictory address on 20.06.2021. Vote of thanks was given by Dr P Subramanian and Dr S Balamurugan of TNTEU. Master of Ceremony was done by Dr Gnana Soundari of TNTEU, Dr George Stephen of TNTEU, Dr Josephine and Dr K Mangai of Stella matutina College of Education, Dr T Premalatha from Bharathiar University and Mrs Sabitha Shanmuga Priya of VHNSN college. The number of speakers including students and teachers in the world record event were 622. The total number of participants attended the event were 9430. Besides these, more than 3000 Participants participated through you tube and Tamil America Channel. This new world Programme commenced on 18th June from 9 am and ended on 20th June by 9pm. This programme was executed by the students' participants in Tamil and English language through Google Meet platform.
